This Privacy Policy explains what personal data media-press.tv collects, why, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it. It covers this website and the enquiry forms linked from it (Contact, Book a demo, Become a partner). For the specific cookies and tracking tools we use, see our Cookie Policy.
Who we are
Media-Press.TV AG, Wollerauerstrasse 7, 8834 Schindellegi, Switzerland, is the controller responsible for the personal data collected through this website. Media-Press.TV AG is the parent company of the Media Press Group, a network of regional entities operating under the same group standards described in this policy.
Questions about this policy or your data: pdp@media-press.tv.
What data we collect
Site usage: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and similar analytics data, only if you consent to cookies. See the Cookie Policy for full detail on each tool (Google Analytics 4, HubSpot tracking, LinkedIn Insight Tag), what it collects, and how to opt out.
Enquiry forms: when you submit the Contact, Book a demo, or Become a partner form, we collect the information you provide: first name, last name, company, work email, phone number, region, and, depending on the form, enquiry type, partnership category, company website, and any message you write.
Why we collect it
We use this data to respond to your enquiry, route it to the right regional contact, prepare a proposal or demo, and, if you become a customer, deliver our services. Where you have consented to analytics or marketing cookies, we also use aggregated, non-identifying data to understand and improve the site.
The legal basis for processing enquiry-form data is that it is necessary to take steps you asked for, at your request, in connection with a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and our legitimate interest in responding efficiently and keeping a record of business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We do not need your consent to process this data, because you provide it to us directly for this purpose.
How we share it within the Media Press Group
Media-Press.TV AG operates the systems behind this website, including our shared CRM. Because we work as one group across many countries, staff at other Media Press Group entities may be given access to your enquiry, strictly limited to what they need to help handle it: for example a regional sales contact, a technical specialist preparing a proposal, or an editorial contact scoping content work.
This is not a sale or disclosure of your data to unrelated third parties: it is how one shared system is used across a single organisation to answer the request you made. No separate consent is required for this internal access; it is covered by the legal basis described above, and every Media Press Group entity applies the same data protection standards set out in this policy, wherever it is located.
Some Media Press Group entities are located outside the EU, EEA, Switzerland and the UK. Where that is the case, we put appropriate safeguards in place before granting access, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, so your data stays protected to the same standard regardless of where it is accessed from.
Other recipients
We use a small number of external providers to run this website and our sales process:
- HubSpot (CRM and form processing, EU-hosted): stores your enquiry and lets our sales teams follow up.
- Google Analytics 4, HubSpot tracking, and the LinkedIn Insight Tag: analytics and marketing tools, only active if you consent. See the Cookie Policy for detail on each.
These providers act as our processors and only use your data on our instructions, for the purposes described in this policy.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry-form data for as long as needed to respond to you and, if a business relationship develops, for the duration of that relationship plus a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping. Analytics and marketing cookie data is kept for the retention periods listed in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to ask us to:
- confirm whether we process your data, and access a copy of it
- correct inaccurate data
- delete your data, subject to legal retention requirements
- restrict or object to certain processing
- receive your data in a portable format
To exercise any of these rights, write to pdp@media-press.tv. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, or, for Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse, both on this website and within the Media Press Group systems described above.
Children
This website and our forms are intended for business enquiries and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here; we encourage you to review this page periodically.
