The challenge
Where it started
Deliver metadata in the Nagra OpenTV format while honouring 4iG-specific requirements, including its own genre and category codes plus the logical relations of VoD purchase periods and licence windows, and migrate the existing customer base from the legacy platform with minimal disruption.
The approach
What we did
- A harmonised metadata repository, built on our Harmonization & Enrichment module, aligning linear (LTV) and non-linear (VoD/OTT) content for consistency across the platform.
- Open ID to facilitate user migration, ensuring continuity and minimal user impact.
- A custom metadata export pipeline tailored to the Nagra OpenTV format, enriched with 4iG's unique data attributes.
